Wedding

The college system here is set up so that people with full-time jobs are able to take Friday-Saturday classes to work toward their bachelors degree. Many of the teachers in our school system (a little less than a quarter, I would guess) are taking classes, and two of them are getting degrees in psychology. The three of us have had great conversations about where psychology and education meet in the elementary classrooms and I have greatly enjoyed their friendship. One of these young men, Crisitan, invited Derc and I to his wedding, and it was beautiful! It's been a gorgeous sunny, warm day, and the wedding and reception were wonderful. I loved running into a bunch of the other teachers and meeting their children (some less than a month old!).
