Garden in January

The fruit trees in the compound garden are blooming away and already producing small fruit....in JANUARY! I have long since given up trying to understand seasons here. Last year, there was "wet" and "less wet", and the year before there was "dry" and "more dry". You can tell it's almost Christmas and Thanksgiving because it's so cold that you can see your breath inside your room, but other than that, there really isn't much difference day to day, month to month.

  1. What great pictures! Esp of the blossoms! Are you afraid that Elote might jump on the roof via the trees and get snapped up by the dogs that run on the roof, too?

  2. No, someone fed glass to that dog, so the only animals up there now are the ducks and chickens.
